Immigration Attorney Lalitha Alladi

Lalitha understands the immigrant experience firsthand, having immigrated from India with her parents in the 1980s. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. While her focus was on trial advocacy, she also excelled in negotiation, winning a national competition as a member of Stetson’s Client Skills Team.

Lalitha began her legal career in 2005 as an Assistant State Attorney, where she handled cases with fairness and discernment. During this time, she developed a strong sense of justice, recognizing the distinction between repeat offenders and individuals caught in cycles of minor offenses who needed support rather than punishment.

Since 2013, Lalitha has focused her practice on immigration law. Her combined experience working in-house at a Fortune 500 company and at a nationally recognized law firm has enabled her to effectively guide multinational executives and organizations in hiring and retaining foreign nationals while maintaining compliance with immigration laws. She provides both short-term strategies and long-term planning, allowing business units to anticipate and budget for their workforce needs, and zealously advocates for clients in both family-based and employment-based immigration matters. Drawing on this breadth of experience, she offers clear, strategic guidance tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, empowering them to make informed decisions for their families and businesses.

Lalitha is deeply passionate about the pursuit of justice. Having served as President of both the Florida and Georgia chapters, she is the current President of the South Asian Bar Association of North America. Throughout her tenure with the organization, she has consistently advocated for immigrant rights and immigration reform, including lobbying annually on Capitol Hill.
